Black College Bands Performing Michael Jackson Classics

Here are but a few of the many MJ classics performed by black college marching bands across the country. If you have links or videos to add, they would be much appreciated.

My favorite memory of an MJ song was MSU playing Human Nature during my undergraduate years. It wasn't a part of a show, but it sounded pretty good. I'm sure many, if not all HBCUs will have MJ tributes this upcoming football season.

All I can say is get ready. The ENTIRE football season is going to be ONE HUGE MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE from EVERY marching band in America. (Including HWCUBs as well as HBCUBs) College AND highschool bands. Black AND white. He was just that large.

Each of your bands will pay homage to him for an entire halftime show at one particular part of the season or another. I can see it now. MJ look alikes, Video remakes, Jackson 5 remakes, Young MJs, Afro MJs, The long str8 hair MJs. Get ready folks. If you dont like MJ music....you best leave for the concessions @ halftime.

Ain't dat the truth! Just one request...If you just have to do a MJ routine...please, please, please BE CREATIVE. I don't want to see the same damn routine done 50-11 times from each band! Heck, parachute from a plane or something...change that shyt up! Don't kill half time show for HBCUs with a monotonous MJ routine. :shame:

I'm trying to find a clip of us drilling to "Remember the Time" in 1992. Everytime I hear that sound on the radio, it takes me back. :nod:

And SU's "Blood on the Dance Floor" was sick!!! :tup: :clap:

SU played it in 89, 04 and 05 TxSU came out and played it in 05..

~still mad as hell that AAMU's HC is the same day as the Chicago game against Valley~ DAMMIT!!!! :upset: :lol:
