There is no way the Rockets losing Yao is a blessing. Maybe for the Lakers, but not Houston. Granted the Rockets were able to win Game 4 without Yao, but I do not see them advancing past the Lakers without Yao and McGrady.

Teams don't win the playoffs without stars. Those cats are very important pieces to the Houston puzzle. Oh, and the reason why Yao is averaging 17 points a game is because Wafer and Brooks and Landry think they are NBA All-Stars. While those guards have been productive, they sometimes forget that Yao is on the floor.

Dude, Yoa Ming is a star by name only. The NBA hyped him up to please those billion+ Chinese folks. Ming is overrated. Ming is not selling out no stadiums. Like I said, dude is averaging 17 points a game. I have more respect for Dirk then Yoa Ming. Check out Ming in the video below. Do you think Shaq would have got dunked on like that?

So he's overrated cuz he's not an agile big man? Swift beat him pretty much the only way you can...Off the dribble. Yao is not agile enough to guard athletic guys off the dribble. That's known fact, so that lil video does nothing. Yao remains one of the more solid centers in the league.

And Kendrick, Wafer is the Black Hole. Once the ball goes to him, you ain't gonna see it again till his next possession, unless you get his rebound. Brooks doesn't forget that Yao is on the floor. I think lots of his problem is from trying so hard to get Yao the ball that neither one is productive.

Kobe is a good player but not a great player. No way Magic or Jordan would have allowed their team to play the way the Lakers did today. The Rockets have lost their two best players and still embarrassed the Lakers. Magic and Jordan made their teammates better. Kobe does not have that trait. I'll be waiting for the Kobe defenders response.

You think if the 1996 Magic played a playoff game without Shaq and Penny against Jordan and the Bulls, Orlando would have Chicago down 28 points in the second half?

Or if Mourning and Tim Hardaway did not suit up for the Heat, the Bulls would get blown out? Come on. And Kobe is SUPPOSED to be the best closer in the NBA? :noidea:

my boys stunk up the place...if odom had got hurt earlier we woulda won
I can't believe how bad this guy has become. This is why I think Kupchak should be fired. He should have been traded in the offseason and Vujacic should not have been signed to a deal that pays him $5 million this season. Luke Walton is another one of those bad signings Kupchak made. I think he signed Walton to a similar deal before last season. That's $10 million wasted.

:scared:
Vujacic and Walton make 5 million apiece? Holy crap!

Hey JR.

Didn't I tell you at the end of last season, Lamar Odem should be the first player traded?
I said that guy will disappear on you. :smh:

Sometimes Phil Jackson is too laid back. When a team's on a 8-0 or 10-0 run, you call timeout and regroup. You don't wait until your team is down by 15 points and then call time out. Hell, I can sit on the bench and do what he's doing, just sitting there.

He needs to get in some asses during his timeouts instead of just talking about "energy" and hoping his team can play through 10-0 runs by other teams. Those guys were not motivated to play any defense yesterday at all, except maybe in the fourth quarter, but by that time, it was too late.

And I'm still wondering why Luke Walton is getting so much playing time. I'd take my chances with Bynum out there.

There's are two kinds of Lakers.....

Showtime Lakers....and, Hollywood Lakers. Point blank....win or lose this season....these are the Hollywood Lakers. Not as much substance as they thought.

When a team can only out-talent you...you become vulnerable to team ball when you have to do it for 7 games. And, that's what's kill'n the Lakers.

Im a Rockets fan, and on paper this should be over. But, like other Rockets fans know....this is a team. And, throughout all of the injuries, this year and years recently past...they've played team ball. This ain't the first time the Rox have been shook by injury.

So, kendrick...

This is not entirely true for the Rockets.

One thing I'll give Adelman and our GM, Moreh, credit for. They've stacked the line-up. Heck, we still have raw talent that could surprise you still on the bench. Like I said...this ain't the Rockets first handicapped rodeo
That might be a blessing. Yao Ming is totally overrated. Big 7' mofo only averaging 17 points a game in the playoffs.

And, uhhh....No. He's not overrated.

Considering the defense that's been put on him...I think you make a case for the fact that he's not overrated. Still getting 17 (plus, his rebounds and assist)...and, you have a "D" built in for you.

Ps- What big man hasn't gotten dunked on? That shouldn't be the criteria.

He is trying to trust Kobe like he trusted MJ, that's why he don't regroup... Glad you now see he can't do that..

You shole did Frat. Dude should turn in his NY hood card. He has become Hollywood soft. LOL.

GR thinks LA is going to give him a contract extention. They would be dumb to do so. Unless it is a sign and trade, then I think LA should package him and Bynum up and get something for them. They need a hard core front line player with some attitude and they need a PG that can really handle the rock and break teams down off the dribble. Kobe can't be the only player doing that. Sasha should be shipped too. Ariza, Brown, and Farmar are the only ones they should keep that come off the bench. Luke Walton is another worthless one. He aint nearly as hard as his old man was. He just aint as injury prone as Bill.

Yes Sasha needs to go. I'd ship Sasha out first, the Odom. Odom is a talented dummy on the court. He is dumber than Pac Man Jones. Odom makes Quincy Carter look like Einstein.

I'd keep Bynum. Once he is truly healthy he'll be fine. He's the only guy outside of Orlando with enough balls to get physical with Shaq.

I agree, Bynum needs a little more time. The Lakers have to much invested in him right now. Before each of the times Bynum got hurt he was actually getting the job done on the court and really turning some heads. I'd give him another year or two. He still has a huge upside.

No comment on Odom, Walton or Sasha. :upset:

Also said our big men are suspect under the boards.:retard:
Didn't want to start another argument so I'm riding this playoff run out.
Hope the big men prove me wrong but I doubt it.
All of them are going to disappear before this is over.
Oh well.:noidea:

They should take out Houston but right now, I don't see them beating Denver the way they have played this series.

LA can't get no hard core front line as long as Kobe is there... they would not like the vibes Kobe give off because they would be too real... And Kobe wouldn't be comfortable around some real dudes that you are speaking of.. it just would not work... He had that with Shaq, Shaq found out what type of dude he was... and you know all the real cats talk to each other..... That why LA has the cast it has now...

Sasha?!?!?! What dude you know with a name like that, I had a few chicks name Sasha before though... Long as Kobe is there, they will only get weak folks like that..
